I want
to thank First
Coast Academy for helping me obtain my high
school diploma. I lost my mother in an accident when I was 11 years old.
My father became disabled, but never gave up on me. My dream was to become
an emergency medical technician, but without a high school diploma I could not
qualify. Now that I have cleared that obstacle, I will be able to fulfill
my dream.
Thank
you again,
Thomas

"I had seen advertisements in stores to "Finish High School in 6 months." I thought to myself no way. I dropped out of high school soon after and didn't even think about school for a year. Finally, I sent the post card to FCA and received information. I was skeptical but I signed up for it. The work was easy and convenient. Now 6 months later, I'm a high school graduate. The best part: even though I quit for a year, I still graduated in the year I was supposed to. Thank you FCA!" Valada Smith |

I would like to thank the staff at First Coast Academy for the encouragement they gave me throughout the program. I would also like to give personal thanks to Mrs. Barbara Cornelius for allowing me another chance to start where I left off. The forgiveness program gave me a second chance to continue and to finish up my work towards my high school diploma. Once again I just want to say "thank you so much".

Sir,
I would just like to tell you that you have a fantastic employee working under you. Mrs. Hazes has made the last month or so of my diploma program so much easier for me. I am currently living in Okinawa Japan, and without her help I would probably still not have my diploma, or my sanity. When the mail ran late, she helped me out. When my tests weren't active she helped out. She has helped me so much more than I could express. She was tirelessly friendly, helpful, and cheerful. Even when I am sure I was driving her crazy, she remained easy to talk to and helpful to the extreme. She is a fantastic person. I am very impressed with her professionalism and her great attitude.
Thank you all so much,

Since
my graduation in 2006, I have become a 2nd Class Petty Officer in the US Navy
and am stationed in Japan.
My plan is to continue with additional college courses to further my education
as well. Thanks
First Coast
Academy!
Sincerely,
Jason

I dropped out of high school in the 11th
grade. I had been working for Winn-Dixie bagging groceries since I
was 16 years old. I was able to move up to a produce manager position by age 18
and over the next several years I had managed every department the store. Then
I hit a ceiling. I could not get promoted to co-manager without a
high school diploma. I enrolled in your school and nine months later in
October 2003 I earned my diploma, and the ceiling was lifted. Since
then I have managed 3 stores for Winn-Dixie, not as a co-manager, but as a
store director. I later changed companies, moved to Virginia, and I am currently running a
store for Giant Foods. I have also been attending college at NOVA and
plan to go into politics.
Thank you for the leg up,
