Distance Learning
Each year, an estimated 3 million Americans study, hoping to improve, so
they can get ahead. They study by distance education because they have found it to be a practical,
convenient, and an economical way to get the kind of training and education they
want. Distance education institutions provide a second opportunity to many who have
not acquired all of the education they need and who, for many reasons, are unable
to take advantage of residential educational opportunities.
